Fleming College, also known as the Sir Sanford Fleming College, was established in 1967. It is an open institute that was named after Sanford Fleming who was a well-known engineer and inventor. He is popular for the contributions he made to the concept of Universal Standard Time. The institute is associated with the Canadian Collegiate Athlete Association, ACCC, and Peterborough Centennial Museum & Archives. The institute introduced the College of Applied Arts and Technology in 1965. The college is managed and governed by the executive staff and a Board of Governors.

Who can study at Fleming College?

For Diploma Programs:

  • High school diploma
  • IELTS 6.0 with no band less than 5.5 or TOEFL 8- with no score less than 20

For Postgraduate:

  • College diploma or University degree in a related field
  • IELTS 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 or TOEFL 88 with no score less than 22.
